Hooked on Golf at the espnW Summit Scramble

⛳ Humbled, honoured, and officially hooked on golf! 🏌️‍♀️

What an incredible way to be introduced to the game of golf, surrounded by women who have taken the sport to the highest level.

At the first-ever espnW Summit Scramble, presented by JPMorganChase, I had the absolute honour of learning from and playing alongside LPGA professionals Breanna Do, Lizette Salas, and Briana Chacon.

We kicked things off with a golf clinic led by #BirdieBabes Golf founder Courtney Campbell, followed by an actual 9-hole scramble at the beautiful Ojai Country Club.

As a beginner, I was definitely humbled! But what an experience to be surrounded by such talented, generous, and encouraging women.

One thing that really stuck with me was something Lizette Salas said:

"you got to practice with a purpose"

I loved that, because what we do in our everyday lives should be led with purpose. Whether it's learning a new sport, building a business, or simply showing up for ourselves and others, it's not just about putting in the hours. It's about being intentional with what we're working toward.

And something else became very clear to me that day. The friendships you make through sports are special.

There's something about learning together, laughing at your mistakes, cheering each other on, and sharing those little victories that creates genuine connections.

I came to learn golf, but I left with so much more.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this experience so memorable. I'm truly grateful to have shared the course with such amazing women.

Now I just need to practice with a purpose... and hopefully hit the ball in the right direction! 😂⛳

I will be adding all my pictures to fenel world of ESPN Women Summit: https://lnkd.in/gX5VjAUZ
